King Salmon: May 1st-July 31st Kings are our Specialty. We generally fish Kings on the Kenai River in a power boat and fish the Kasilof River in a drift boat. Kenai Kings require some patience, the the fishery is more of a Trophy Fishery. They can weigh anywhere between 20-80+ pounds with the average fish is around 25-45 pounds with lots of Trophy caught monthly. The world record King Salmon was caught on this amazing river on May 17th, 1985.

Super Hog Kenai River Silver Salmon
The Kenai River has incredible runs of King Salmon, Silver Salmon and Rainbow trout. Come and fish this world class fishery in 2010 and you wont be disapointed. As a lifelong Alaskan and Kenai River resident I am familiar with the area and have been fishing these local rivers since I was five years old with my dad. To say I know the water and the techniques is putting it mildly. |
