Chinook Salmon (Oncorhynchus Tshawytscha)Average size: 10-15lbs, up to 135lbs. Black irregular spotting on back and dorsal fins and on both lobes of the caudal or tail fin. Like to spawn in fast or long high volume rivers.FallOldest known age: 7yrs
Chum Salmon (Oncorhynchus Keta)Average size: 10-15lbs, up to 33lbs. Metallic greenish-blue on dorsal surface with fine black speckles. Like to spawn in lower streches of river.FallOldest known age: 6yrs
Coho Salmon (Oncorhynchus Kisutch)Average size: 6-12lbs, up tp 31lbs. Bright silver with small black spots on the back and on the upper lobe of the caudal fin. Like to spawn in small tributaries.FallOldest known age: 4yrs
Pink Salmon (Oncorhynchus Gorbuscha)Average size: 3-5lbs, up to 12lbs. Bright steely blue on top and silvery on the sides with many large black spots on the back and entire tail fin. They are the smallest of Pacific salmon. Like to spawn in lower streches of river.FallOldest known age: 2yrs
