Hi everyone well it is mid August and we are in peak season for our first run Silver Salmon on the Kenai and Kasilof rivers here in Alaska. Although the Silver Salmon fishing was a bit slow to get started both the Kenai and Kasilof  Riovers have been fishing great now for about 10 days and all indications are that we are going to have strong runs of Silver Salmon on both the Kenai and the Kasilof Rivers here in Alaska. Also as the river level has begun to drop we should see the Trophy Rainbow Trout fishing on the Kenai River start to get hot in these next few weeks. We are still picking up a few Sockeye Salmon on the Kenai although they are starting to be mostly in poor condition, but still fun to catch. Well that is the fishing report here on Alaska’s Kenai and Kasilof rivers.
