Hi everyone well I have good news and bad news, first the good news, the 2017 fishing season on the Kenai River and the Kasilof River was a huge success . Our early run King Salmon fishing was some of the best fishing we have seen in many years on the Kenai and Kasilof Rivers, Next the July run was also very good on both the Kenai River and the Kasilof River. Also we had a strong return of Sockeye Salmon and a wonderful return of Silver Salmon again on both the Kenai River and the Kasilof River. And as always the Trophy Rainbow Trout fishery was quite good. Now for the bad news I am sad to report that due to cold winter conditions setting in here on the Kenai I have decided to winterize the boats and call it a season for Jim Rusk Fishing, so that is the report great season and see you next year for another great season of Salmon and Trout fishing here on the Kenai and Kasilof Rivers.
