Hi everyone well first I want to apologize for my lack of posts this summer it has been a crazy year, probably one of the busiest ever in my 34 years of guiding the Kenai River and the Kasilof River. Anyway I just wanted to give you all an update on whats going on here at Jim Rusk Fishing. First of all the Silver Salmon just keep coming and they are nice big fat Silvers yes it is a little slower than peak season but still a very great trip with the Kenai River being very quiet this time of year and the fall colors out and some big Silvers still around it should still be a great trip for a few more weeks.

I want to thank everyone who fished with us this year and made 2021 here on the Kenai River a huge success. We had highs and lows with the different runs of Salmon but overall I would say 2021 was a pretty great year. We are already getting requests for dates on the Kenai River and the Kasilof River for 2022 and soon I will start placing anglers in the book for 2022, judging by the interest we have already had I think 2022 will again be a very busy season here on the Kenai chasing King Salmon, Sockeye Salmon, Silver Salmon, and Trophy Trout so if you have some dates in mind for next season I highly recommend you dont waittomlong to give me a call. well thanks again and tight lines.
