Hi everyone well spring is in the air here in Alaska on the Kenai and excitement is building as we are now just a month away from being back on the waters of the mighty Kenai and Kasilof Rivers. 2018 will our 32nd year of guiding anglers for Salmon and Trout on the Kenai and Kasilof Rivers, and I can’t wait to get started. Our first run King Salmon will begin to enter the Kenai and Kaslof Rivers in early may. Many anglers know that we have great Salmon fishing in June, July, August, and September but what many don’t know is that we also can have great King Salmon fishing in may on both the Kenai River and the Kasilof Rivers and the great thing is that there will be very few people on the rivers at that time so you will be able to essentially have these amazing rivers all to yourself, making for a very enjoyable and relaxing fishing experience. Also May can be a wonderful time of year if not the best time to get out in the Ocean and catch some Halibut as large Halibut tend to be close to shore which can make for great fishing. So if your looking for a great time to come and fish the Kenai and Kasilof Rivers as well as the waters of Cook Inlet or Kachemak Bay then you may want to consider a May fishing trip here on the Kenai in Alaska.
