Hi everyone today I wanted to talk about one the many treasures here on Alaska’s Kenai peninsula. Everyone who visits the Kenai knows that we have world class Salmon fishing, Trout fishing, Halibut fishing, but what many don’t know about are the many world class hiking trails we have here on the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge. Just a short drive to the mountains from soldotna you will find a variety of absolutely amazing hikes in the cooper landing area. Also if you are a fly fisherman we have several lakes both Cresent Lake and Fuller lake that have wonderful Grayling fishing, both are mountain lakes and are reached via beautiful hikes on the refuge. So if your here on that dream fishing trip for King Salmon, Silver Salmon, Sockeye Salmon, or Halibut but would like to experience the wonderful wildlife and scenic beauty that we have here on the Kenai you may want to consider a day a spent exploring the mountains of the Kenai. Some hiking some fly fishing and lots of picture taking what a great way to spend the day while visiting Alaska on the mighty Kenai Peninsula.

Just a Reminder we are now in prime booking season and the phone is ringing so if you want book your dates for this summer I would recommend reserving your dates sooner than later, we still have some great dates for King Salmon, and Silver Salmon left but we are booking up fast so urge you to call soon and get your days locked in for the 2018 fishing season thanks and take care.
