Hello Kenai river Anglers, Well it is a new year and moving forward we are starting to plan for another great Kenai River fishing season in 2026. I hope that everyone had a great holiday season with friends and family, and I want to thank everyone who fished with Jim Rusk Fishing in 2025 and I look forward to serving you and your Alaska angling needs in the future. 2026 will be my 40th fishing season as a guide on the Kenai River and other local waters and so I’m asking you my valued clients to help me make 2026 fishing season a great season. We are currently booking trips for the 2026 Kenai River fishing season and would love to help you plan for a great Alaska fishing trip this summer. We have many good dates still available, and although I mainly focus on Salmon and trout fishing on the Kenai River and other local waters we can certainly help you with getting the right guides for your saltwater needs as well. With a record setting Sockeye Salmon run on the Kenai River in 2025 expectations are high for another great year in 2026.
