Hi everyone well we are just weeks away from the start of the 2019 fishing season on the Kenai River and the Kasilof River and excitement is running high I have a friend who lives near the mouth of the Kasilof River and she has been reporting seeing lots of seals in the lower river a sure sign that we already have some fish starting to enter the River. She was not sure if they were early run King Salmon or Steelhead but a great sign that fresh fish are starting to enter the Rivers. The weather here on the Kenai has been very nice and the days are getting longer every day. We still have many great dates open now is a great time to lock down some good dates for fishing with us on the Kenai River or the Kasilof River in 2019. New for 2019 we have decided to add a set of down riggers to one of the boats and add some cool Lake fishing adventures to our list of trip options. So if your coming to do a King Salmon or Silver Salmon trip this summer but would like to spend a day on a less traveled piece of water than the Kenai River or the Kasilof River then you might want to consider a day on one of the many lakes we have here on the Kenai, fishing for either Lake Trout. Arctic Char, or Rainbow Trout. Well it is time to go out side and do some boat work as spring is here and fishing season 2019 here on the Kenai in Alaska is just right around the corner.
