Hi everyone well its late June here on the Kenai and the 2019 fishing season is in full swing. Okay so here is the fishing report for the Kenai and Kasilof Rivers here in Alaska. First run King Salmon on the Kasilof River have peaked now and although it is still producing nice King Salmon it has been slow and will probably be slow until the second run starts showing up, which should be soon maybe a week or so. The Kenai River also has peaked for the first run of King Salmon however fishing continues to be very good. Rainbow Trout opened on the Kenai River and the fishing has been very good, I did three Trophy Rainbow Trout trips last week and the fishing was great. First Run Sockeyes have been very strong this year on the Kenai River and have now mostly made it to the Russian River where fishing has been absolutely fantastic this year. Kasilof River Sockeyes are just starting to show up and that fishing should get better every day. Cook Inlet and Kachemak bay Halibut continues to be fishing very good this year. Well that is the fishing report here in Alaska from the Kenai and Kasilof Rivers for King Salmon, Sockeye Salmon, Silver Salmon, Rainbow Trout, and Halibut.
