Hello Kenai River Anglers, I want to start by wishing everyone a happy new years. Well it is 2025 and a new year is upon us. Jim Rusk fishing will be enjoying our 39th consecutive season guiding Anglers on the Kenai River and other local waters here in Alaska. If you are planning a trip to Alaska this summer to fish for Salmon or Trout now is the time to get your fishing dates booked, we still have a lot of great dates open but the phone is ringing and the prime dates will be booking up soon. Sockeye Salmon and Silver Salmon will be our main focus for the 2025 fishing season but we will also offer some king Salmon trips on the Kasilof River in  may and June, and as always we will be looking forward to the Rainbow trout opener on June 16th. And as always if you are looking to get out on the saltwater for halibut and other species we can help you get that setup as well, most of my clients will book at least one day of Halibut fishing if they are spending a week fishing with me here in Alaska on the Kenai River. If you are considering fishing in Alaska with Jim Rusk Fishing but have never done so before just know that We provide all you need rods reels tackle bait and whatever you might need for a successful day on the Kenai River so you do not have to worry about bringing any fishing equipment with you.
