Hi everyone, well it is almost March and spring is in the air here in Alaska on the Kenai Peninsula and here at Jim Rusk Fishing we are starting to get excited that the 2022  fishing season on the Kenai River and the Kasilof River is just around the corner. It is hard to believe but this will be the 35th consecutive fishing season for Jim Rusk fishing here in Alaska on the Kenai River and the Kasilof River here in Alaska on the Kenai Peninsula. Early indications are that the 2022 fishing season is going to be another very busy year here on the Kenai. So if you are planning to come fishing here on the Kenai for the 2022 fishing season I highly recommend that you you get all your reservations in place. As many of you probably know rental cars have been a problem since covid and you will want to get your car reservations as soon as possible. Also your Lodging should be booked soon as well, and most importantly your fishing guide! We do still have some great dates open for fishing on the Kenai River and the Kasilof River for King Salmon, Sockeye Salmon, Silver Salmon, and Trophy Rainbow Trout, but the phone is ringing and we are booking up so if want certain dates you need to call us and get locked in as soon as possible.
