Hello Kenai River anglers, well it is mid March here on the Kenai and spring is in the air! With the 2025 Alaska fishing season right around the corner my thoughts are turning more each day towards another season as an Alaskan fishing guide here on the Kenai River. 2025 will be by my 39th consecutive year as a local fishing guide here on the Kenai, and amazingly I still get excited for a new season every spring. I just recently acquired my 2025 alaska state parks fishing guide license and before long I will be uncovering my Kenai River boat and getting her ready to fish as well as going thru all the rods reels and tackle preparing for another great season of guiding anglers from all over the country and the globe, on the Kenai River and other local waters. Ive been eating lots of salmon getting my freezer cleaned out and ready to fill with another great haul of fresh Alaskan Salmon fillets. If you have not had the pleasure of harvesting fresh Alaskan Salmon for your freezer and enjoying it thru out the winter you are missing out on a wonderful resource! The 2025 Kenai River fishing season is starting to fill up however we do still have a variety of great dates open so if your wanting to get some fishing dates booked for 2025 I highly recommend that you give me a call and get your days locked in while you still have a good number of days to choose from.
