Hello Kenai River Anglers. Well the 2024 fishing season here in Alaska has ended, I hope that you all got to put some Kenai River Salmon in your freezers this summer. I know I will be eating lots of Kenai RiverSalmon this winter and actually tried a new recipe last night very tasty. So the 2024 fishing season in Alaska on the Kenai River was a season of highs and lows we had some fantastic fishing and some very slow fishing and everything in between. Overall I would say we had another successful season here at Jim Rusk Fishing  in Alaska on the Kenai River, that makes 38 years in a row for me as a fishing guide in Alaska on the Kenai River. And once again god willing I will be a guide in 2025 for year number 39 crazy how the years fly by. So if you want to fish the Kenai River in Alaska next summer we will again be chasing Sockeye Salmon, Silver Salmon and Rainbow trout as well as King Salmon on the Kasilof river in the spring. I have my new 2025 calendar and am starting to place people for fishing dates in 2025 on the Kenai so now is the time to book your dates if you want to get your pick of the best dates for fishing in 2025.
