Hi everyone well it is late August here on the Kenai in Alaska and we have been very busy fishing for Silver Salmon. Silver Salmon fishing started out a little slow this year but in the last couple weeks we have been getting limit catches of nice big Silver Salmon on the Kenai River. I just finished with a group of 4 guys from Minnesota who after 4 days of fishing for Silver Salmon are taking home 32 nice big Silvers. Fishing reports from the Kasilof River have also been good for Silver Salmon so that fishery is doing well also. Trophy Trout fishing on the Kenai River is also starting to get good and the bite should continue to get better in the next few weeks as the Rainbow Trout and Dolly Varden start to feed heavy in preparation for a long winter. Well that is the fishing report from here on the Kenai the Kenai River and the Kasilof River are fishing good for Silver Salmon and the Trout are biting call now to reserve a spot and lets go fishing.
