Hello Kenai River Anglers, Well fishing season has begun here on the Kenai River and the Kasilof River in Alaska. King Salmon fishing on the Kasilof River has been steadily improving and the fishing should be pretty good now for the next few weeks. Also first run Sockeye are starting to show up in both the Kenai River and the Kasilof River. Lake Trout fishing has been very good now for a while and should stay good for a few more weeks. On the Kenai River the Rainbow Trout opener is just a few days away with June 16th being opening day. Also reports have been good from the Saltwater Halibut fisheries. So that is the fishing report from here on the Kenai, a lot of options for a great day on the water.
